Happy New Year and welcome back to ATR!
News trickled through slowly during the holiday period so consider this your catch-up on all that happened of note during the festive time. 
I hope 2018 is treating you well so far – all 1-2 days of it depending on where you’re based. As for me, I’m back to work after a relaxing week off and looking forward to another year of watching tech across Asia. There’s no 2017 roundups from me – should there be?! – but I have a couple of interesting stories coming up that I’ve spent significant time working on.
